Siddhasana

Siddhasana

A relatively simple asana to acheive but a very important asana if done every day as it purifies around 72000 "Nadis" ( Channels through which nervous energy passes in the body. This is one of the positions for practicing Pranayama and meditation.

    A small query. I am not very sure. which leg should be placed on which leg. In this image, your left leg is on the right leg. I heard it vice versa. Kindly do not mistake me. Please clarify.

    1. any leg placed on the other mean the same.if you place left leg on right it is termed left siddhasana and if you place right on the left it is termed as right siddhasana .probably if you find difficult being in one position ,you may allowed to change position.

  2. You balance both by interchanging first right on top then left.Been busy with teaching and have not had the time to attend to the blog. Expect more soon.
